Helen K. Lester, DDS, FAGD, PC.

Dr. Lester obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon. Go Ducks !!  She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2001 from Creighton University.  Her interest in dentistry started over thirty years ago as a dental assistant at the age of sixteen.  Her passion grew and she became a dental hygienist. As a hygienist for over fifteen years, Dr. Lester compiled a wealth of knowledge from the doctors she worked with. Having grown up with ten siblings, Dr. Lester is no stranger to hard work and competition. Attending dental school in her thirties was a welcome challenge.

Her goal when becoming a dentist included providing excellent comprehensive dental care in a compassionate manner, providing a positive working environment and eventually teaching.

Dr. Lester is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Lester is also a member of the American Dental Association.  She is a certified trainer for CEREC and leads a CEREC study club for Lane and Linn Benton County training other doctors in the use of CAD CAM dentistry. She has been published in Dental Products Report and routinely reviews dental products for Dental Products Review. Continuing education and staying up to date on the latest technology in dentistry is clearly important to Dr. Lester and her patients appreciate it !

Dr. Lester enjoys hiking, spending time with her two yellow labs, Lucy and Zoie and loves time spent with her many nieces and nephews.
